Voice of the child and wellbeing

We use a variety of methods and resources to capture the voice of the child

Staff and children are encouraged to challenge discriminatory behaviours and language

Our early years setting provides a good opportunity to understand and influence how young children play together and communicate.

At Cygnets we provide opportunities for developing social communication skills and language, especially for quieter children who can find their voice when following their own interests. This helps build resilience and confidence through risk taking and challenge, making connections, problem solving, and dealing with new and novel situations.
